She’s a peach

I love how when I asked the father of this sweet baby, “how is she?” His response was, “She is a peach”.

I love that. Isn’t that fitting.

Could it be the wonderful baby smell, the chub? Maybe it’s that smooth baby skin. Or perhaps it’s the real miracle of birth. Whatever it is that draws you in, it is undoughtabley sure that everyone loves a newborn. Ok, maybe the nights ARE rough and you do feel like you just opened that giant diaper box this morning and it is empty already. However, you know that those days of absolute dependence on you are a speck of time. Enjoy it. Embrace it. Treasure it.
