Just us today

This weekend Chad and I finally had the chance to celebrate Valentines Day and My Birthday. We decided to have a “STAY-cation”. Instead of going out of town we had a vacation here in town. We farmed the kids out to grandparents and Chad and I spent the whole day together doing whatever we wanted. We had a blast! We went shopping at Anthropology (my favorite) and then to Lunch and a movie. After that we drove into central Phoenix and went antique shopping (Chad was real thrilled about that I’m sure). I found some awesome vintage lab stools and fabulous antique lamps. Chad was a good sport. He did get some good laughs out of it. He kept saying I feel like I’m in my grandmas house. Behind the shops was a really cool old neighborhood. Chad and I took a walk through the streets and looked at the historic homes. That was a highlight for me. We took a quick trip to Ikea and then to dinner at the Keg where I had my favorite Carrot Cake in the whole world (ever better than my homemade one). Our awesome night ended with one last late night movie.
Thanks for the awesome day Chad and Happy Valentines Day. I love you today more than the day we were married. I have grown to understand and admire so much about you…
