I love Family Night.

Every Monday Night is “Family Night”. We turn off the TV, phones, and ipods. We say prayers, sing songs, play games, have a lesson (usually a scripture story), and a treat (everyone’s  favorite part). Once in a while we have family council if something needs to be discussed, but usually it is fun. Our kids LOVE family night. We grow so close as a family. Last night my oldest daughter wanted to teach the lesson. She did such a fabulous job. She taught the story of Joseph Smith. I think she is so wonderful. She is so mature for her age and really is the sweetest little person. I hope it is not because of her age, but that she keeps that positive outlook on life throughout her life. She also has great sense of humor. She has always been witty. I think it is partly because she is so smart and partly her confidence. I love it. She has us laughing all the time. Today I am thankful for inspired programs like “family night” and that our family is close.
