Yes this is what his nickname is. Yes, I know nicknames should be shorter, However his keeps growing. He is who I am thankful for.

I meant to post last evening, but I ended up over at a dear friends house who is going through a divorce. I was there really late - hence no post. I feel so sorry for my friend. I know being married is tricky. by no means do I know everything about relationships or do I even think I have great advice, but I have learned many things from the 14 years I have been married. I think that if you don’t work at it on a regular basis, it’s going to fall apart.  Through thick or thin and for better or worse. You do have to really work through worse –because anyone can work through better. Our life has not always been perfect- we have had hard times. Somehow we have managed to find away to know what lines we can’t cross and a way to keep evolving. I am so thankful to have a husband who is willing to work through the worse. He is so grownded and really my rock. When times are hard he finds the silver lining. He is able to be optimistic and hopeful when things seem dreary. NO ONE has absolute bliss all the time. At first it may be all about attraction, which is wonderful and good, however real, lasting love is much more. It takes effort. It takes  unselfishness. It takes self-control.  It requires the true essence of love, which is an genuin concern for the well-being and happiness your spouse.

I am thankful for the many wonderful years and happy days of being married to my best friend, but mostly I am so grateful for my husband who is good and cares about my well-being and happiness. I love you Chad.
